The Tool Marked Gold Wedding Band is a flat gold band with a textured surface shaped by the marks of the making process. Each tool mark creates subtle variation across the surface, giving the ring a finish that feels direct, tactile, and distinctly handmade.

Handmade in Nipaluna / Hobart, Lutruwita / Tasmania, this wedding band is made to order in your chosen metal, width, and size. The exterior has a textured tool-marked finish, while the inside of the band is comfort fit with a high-polish surface.

Available in 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, or a custom width. Made in 9ct Gold or 18ct Gold, with Yellow, Rose, or White Gold options available. White Gold bands are left unplated, without rhodium, allowing the softer, warmer tone of raw white gold to remain visible. Custom materials can also be discussed.

Studio appointments are available for viewing, sizing, and choosing the right finish.
For the best fit, I highly recommend having your ring size taken by a professional jeweller before ordering.

If you are confident in your ring size, please leave a note at checkout with your size. Please allow 2–4 weeks for your ring to be made and dispatched.

This wedding band is made from solid 9ct or 18ct Gold, available in Yellow, Rose, or White Gold.

White Gold is left unplated, without rhodium, allowing the softer natural tone of raw white gold to remain visible.

Custom materials can also be discussed, including heirloom gold where suitable.

As wider bands can fit more firmly than finer rings, I highly recommend having your ring size taken by a professional jeweller before ordering. Studio appointments are available in Hobart for viewing, sizing, and discussing width options.

Preorder

What does Preorder mean, and how long will it take?

Preorder is available for some items that may take longer than usual for me to make and ship. This can be due to not having the materials in stock, or needing extra time to source a unique gemstone for you.

Generally, I would allow up to 4 weeks for the item to be made and shipped, but if you would like a more accurate time-frame, please reach out at the time of purchase.

FAQ

Are bespoke or custom requests available?

Absolutely! All my jewellery is handmade by me, and I can make any of your jewellery dreams come true!

As a designer, it is so rewarding to have someone come to me with a
budding idea of something precious to them and over time, the design
becomes fully formed, and they emerge with an incredible custom
jewellery piece.

Please contact me to discuss your options.

I love this piece, but I would love it even more if...

Alterations to existing designs is totally possible.

Sterling Silver, Yellow Gold, Rose Gold, White Gold, Mixed Metals - your metal choices are endless!

Necklaces can be made shorter or longer, rings wider or finer, earrings with hooks, chains or studs...

If you can dream it up, its possible.

Are the materials responsibly sourced?

Responsibly sourcing materials is a huge priority for me, and I recycle
whenever possible. Even though precious metal sourcing and finding
ethical, traceable, sustainable options can be difficult, it's nonnegotiable for everything I create.

When I make my pieces, I carefully vet every part of what I use to ensure the people involved are working under fair, ethical conditions with minimal environmental impact.
